Nerium Creates Scientific Advisory Board
Nerium International announced the creation of its new Scientific Advisory Board, paving the way for continued future success in the skincare industry.
The advisory board will serve to steer Nerium in future development, helping the company stay true to its mission while it continues to grow and expand its customer base.
Who’s On Nerium’s New Scientific Advisory Board?
Who’s on the board? Scientists and dermatologists who are noted in their fields for their accomplishments and their dedication to science and skincare.
One such new member is Dr. Mira Stotland. She’s a board-certified dermatologist with an impressive array of capabilities under her belt. Her career has brought her numerous rewards and honors, including the Alpha Omega Alpha. In case you didn’t know, that’s like the Honor Society for medical doctors.
Another new advisory board member is Dr. Neal Bhatia, another board-certified dermatologist. With a background in immunology and an interest in rosacea, Dr. Bhatia brings a wide range of practical knowledge to the board.
Chairman of the Board is Dr. Adam Friedman, an assistant professor of dermatology and physiology/biophysics at the Unified Division of Dermatology of Montefiore Medical Center- Albert Einstein College of Medicine. As if that weren’t enough, he’s also published over 100 papers and 3 textbooks on his research on novel nanotechnologies. His awards include recognition from the American Dermatologic Association, the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology.
What Does the Nerium Scientific Advisory Board Do?
The Board has its own mission statement, separate from that of Nerium International’s. That is to educate consumers on Nerium’s products, their safety, and their effectiveness. They also are dedicated to providing feedback to Nerium scientists on new product development. Many Nerium reviews explain how important new product reviews can be for the company.
The Board’s goals are perfectly in line with Chairman Friedman’s professional goals…to employ advanced scientific methodology and the latest research to bring skincare to the forefront of evolution. Simply put, he and the board want to advance Nerium’s product line so that it represents the absolute latest in scientific advancement…all for the improvement of their products to better serve their customers.
A Scientific Advisory Board Perfectly in Line With the Nerium International Company Mission
Nerium executives have a high regard for product safety and quality. That’s perfect because the new scientific advisory board has a primary goal of safety too. For a company that’s worked so hard so far to develop only the highest quality skincare products that feature only the safest ingredients, this is crucial to the continued success of everyone involved.
NeriumAD, the flagship line of products sold in the US, and Optimera, the flagship line sold internationally, both exemplify the mission statement. NeriumAD took 10 years to formulate, including research and thorough testing. Optimera was developed according to the same utterly strict guidelines for creating skincare products from botanically-based ingredients.
Both product lines have proved dramatically successful with the market, and serve to inspire the new Scientific Advisory Board to continue the good work of the Nerium International team.
Nerium International products are sold online through a network of independent distributors. Based in Addison, Texas, the company was launched in the US in 2011.
